Day 1: Cairns to Cooktown
Daintree National Park – Cape Tribulation Beach – 4WD Only Bloomfield Track
Journey north along the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive to the Daintree Rainforest. Highlights include a one-hour Daintree River boat cruise, delicious lunch in a rainforest setting, a guided rainforest walk at the Marrdja Boardwalk, visit Cape Tribulation Beach, travel on the Bloomfield 4WD Track and enjoy a welcome dinner on arrival in Cooktown.

Day 2: Cooktown
Lookouts – Guided Walks – Famous Sites
A day to explore Historic Cooktown, including driver-guided foreshore walk, Reconciliation Rocks, Heritage Listed Cooktown Cemetery, James Cook Museum, and the Cooktown Botanic Gardens.

Diverse Landscapes: Outback to Rainforest – Australia’s Oldest Coffee Plantation
Leaving the coast behind we traverse Outback Queensland, with its arid landscape and giant termite mounds. Stretch your legs along the way at Black Mountain, Byerstown Lookout and the Palmer River Roadhouse. Enjoy the tasty lunch at Skybury Coffee Plantation before visiting Din Din – Barron Falls Lookout in the Kuranda National Park. Our final stop is at Cattana Wetlands for a driver-guided walk in this beautiful nature conservation park before transfers back to Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas.

A general level of mobility & fitness is required to join this tour.
The 4WD Coach used for our Cooktown Tour has several steps on entry and passengers will need to board and disembark from the vehicle several times through out the day.
Walks included are all considered easy and are less than 1klm in length. The terrain through out this tour features uneven surfaces and step hills and is not suitable for mobility impaired guests.

Please Note: Travel on the 4wd Bloomfield Track is weather dependent. Alternative route via inland Mulligan Hwy may be taken with no refund.
Solo travellers must book Single Room Rate. No rooms shared between separate bookings. Children must travel with Adult. Maximum room occupancy is 2 people.
Rates are GST inclusive, prices shown are 1AD and in Australia Dollars (AUD)
Child Rate 4-14yrs inc. We do not recommend this tour for children under 7 years due to the length of the days.
Cancellation Policy: No Charge until 7 days prior to travel. 50% cancellation fee charged for cancellations between 2-7 days from travel. 100% cancellation fee charged for cancellations within 48 hours of travel.
